IMKO SONO-Mix increases safety in the production of fresh concrete including steel fiber concrete. The device measures the moisture precisely as well as the radar-based conductance up to 50dS/m. The value allows conclusions on other parameters of the material composition like the content of cement or the propagation measure of fresh concrete. You avoid recipe failures and you control quality reliably.

Intelligent and Tough Probe Head:

Our SONO moisture sensors utilize patented TRIME® TDR technology whose measuring field penetrates deep into a large volume of material, resulting in highly accurate and repeatable moisture measurement values. Seztec’s moisture probes and over 20-years of expertise meet all your aggregate and fresh concrete measurement needs.

While conventional solutions in the market require the measurement to take place through a solid ceramic layer, the signal conductor in the IMKO sensors lies between two ceramic plates and is in direct contact with the material to be measured. This state-of-the-art design guarantees a long-term stable measurement, which does not have to be readjusted due to wear and also offers increased accuracy, as this direct contact with the material achieves maximum sensitivity.

 

 

Interface Options:

All SONO probes are offered with a variety of standard industry outputs and communication protocols to meet every data transfer need. The measured parameters such as moisture content, the conductivity, and temperature, can either be transferred directly into a PLC via two analogue outputs 0(4)…20 mA or imported via an RS485 and IMP-Bus interface. In addition, SONO-probes can be directly connected to a local PC (USB port) via the SM-USB module or the field display – SONO-VIEW. This allows the customer to also adjust individual measuring parameters or conduct calibrations.
