VA570 thermal mass flow meters are based on the thermal dispersion principle, according to which the rate of heat absorbed by a flowing medium flowing through a pipe is directly proportional to its mass flow.

All wetted parts are made from stainless steel (1.4571) and can handle pressure of 16 bar up to 40 bar (optional) and a maximum gas temperature of 180°C (356°F). Read more here.
