ORAKEL open channel flow meter is a flume/weir flowmeter with a non-contact velocity and level sensor to measure flow of effluent, river water, or wastewater.
The ORAKEL Open Channel Flow Meter, also called as flume or weir flow meter, is a non-contact flow meter that is designed applications where liquid contact is prohibited or undesirable.
The ORAKEL Open Channel flow meter measures water flow rate, level, and total volume of water flowing through open channels. This includes flumes, weirs, irrigation channels, and partially filled pipes for industrial discharge or sewer flow.
In open-discharge water applications where installing a flume or weir is not possible, you might want to consider our submersible area-velocity flow meter.
The ORAKEL open channel flow meter features a non-contact ultrasonic level sensor and a non-contact radar velocity sensor, which in combination provide complete flow measurement of the flowing liquid. It has an extremely low power consumption, making it suitable for a broad range of wastewater monitoring applications and use in remote installations, where mains power is unavailable.
